Yeah.
Well, I've got lots of those.
(Please ignore the blue screen where it should be white. Technology and I just broke up yesterday.) |
Or do you ever get together with a bunch of your favorite girlfriends, and someone says something-anything... then they look at you sideways, all suspicious-like, and threaten, "Not a word of that goes in your blog, do you hear me?"
Yeah.
Plenty of that around here, too.
Or do you ever have a moment where something happens and you're laughing your hiney off, and a friend laughingly says, "I bet you're going to blog about this, aren't you?" And then you suddenly don't want to, because that would make you totally predictable, and who wants to be predictable!?!!?
I just came here to say all that. I feel much better now.
Thanks.

...or your friends tell you that they are going to brake your camera? Yeah, that happens to me a lot!
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday, Sasha! Your house looks so cozy.
: )
Julie M.
My hubby is usually the one saying,"Your not going to post about this are you?" ;)
ReplyDeleteYep. Or how about "Mooo-ooom! Do not tell the internet about that!"
ReplyDeleteYes to all of the above. :-) LOL!
ReplyDeleteAnd that is precisely why I don't let family read my blog, LOL!
ReplyDeleteall the time... =) hi stranger...
ReplyDeleteI love it! Yes, I ADORE the sarcastic "this picture is going on the blog, isn't it!?" SO fun. Ha. I just want to say, "have a few more drinks and then THOSE pictures will go on the blog!"
ReplyDeleteYes to all of the above. Darn it.
ReplyDeletecute...cute....cute!
ReplyDeleteHA HA HA HA HA HA! I love this post and can relate TOTALLY!
ReplyDeleteXOXO,
Layla
PS...Thanks for the comments on our blog lately. I ALWAYS look forward to seeing you over there. :-)
hilarious. yes...yes...and yes...all of those things happen to me!
ReplyDeleteFunniest/truest stuff evah! Especially the predictable part. Those comments always make me sort of (stupidly) defensive, like, "No, why would I blog about this??" ;)
ReplyDeleteOh girlie you know all that happens ALL the time! Geesh writing a blog can be hazardous at times:)
ReplyDeleteyes! To all of them! I just try to remember that while I may have chosen to put my life out there, certain family members (with - lets be honest - NO SENSE OF HUMOR) have not chosen to make that decision.
ReplyDeleteStill...I consider my siblings and their sig. others fair game.
Here is the craziest, most liberating thing, no one in my life reads my blog! They just really don't get my world! I am going to leave Saturday for a train trip (17 hours) with my Mom. I was going to post something like, " I hope I don't throw Mama from the train" I don't worry about anyone I know reading it, I just worry that my readers would think it was tacky...What do you think?
ReplyDeleteCarol
*shakes head*
ReplyDeleteHappens all the time.
My word. :)
Case in point: tonight, while everyone was eating and talking, I got up and snapped a picture of the yummolicious dinner left in the pan; wanted to get to it before the rest was gone!
And then I hear Dad's voice to my older sister: "Everyone's going to know what we had for dinner tonight."
Mmmmmhmm.
Yep.
Predictable sometimes, darnit. :)
Oh! Girl! I hear ya!!!
ReplyDeletehahahah!
Have a pretty day!
Kristin
That's why its better to not have them know...
ReplyDeleteI so relate to you. My kids start ducking when I have my camera out and make sure that I won't put the pictures on my blog. I'm like not everything has to go on my blog. You are so funny. Love your blog.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Valerie
Well....yeah. But I still blog about it. I'm evil like that.
ReplyDeleteSo true and so funny!
ReplyDeletethis happens to me all the time. Or my kids say "don't put that photo on your blog."
ReplyDeleteI love this!
ReplyDeleteI do a "Foto Friday" post every week and started doing it when my son turned 1. I never really figured anyone paid much attention to it, no one in my life ever really mentioned it. Then, one day I was at a friend's house and I was taking pictures of my son and her daughter doing something super cute together. All of a sudden she yelled at the top of her lungs, "Photo Friday! Photo Friday!" Lol she was right behind me and yelled so loud she startled me. I hadn't even been thinking about my blog while I was taking the picture but, I put it up for Foto Friday just for her. :)
Happens WAAAY to much... DARN IT!!
ReplyDeleteMmmm...I love you!
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about starting an anonymous blog for all of my bad stories that really can't be told on my cooking blog. Yes, the stories are really that bad. Only, in a good way. I think my blogger has multiple personalities.
