The island we visited, was full of beautiful scenery like this.
I found a little bit of peace on earth while rocking in a chair between my Mama and sis-in-law, watching the ripples this lake.
We brought a tiny Christmas tree and decorated it with store bought cookies. Believe it or not, it was so cute, I think I'll do this again!
We dragged in a little nature, and decorated our table all cute for my Mama's Christmas meal.
My sis-in-law, Holli and I were in charge of dessert, so we created brownie pops that took us about 20 minutes in all to create. They were so fun and yummy! (Not to mention super easy! You bake a pan of brownies ahead of time, then you use an ice cream scoop and your hands to form round balls, insert a candy stick and chill. Then you roll them in melted chocolate, spoon a little more on top to cover, and sprinkle with crushed candy canes!)
I loved these photos. Everyone just relaxing and hanging around. Oh. And our room. It was so cute I had to share! Isn't that bed inviting?
Of course, it wasn't all relaxing. We had some wild games, including a rubber band fight that left us laughing and exhausted, not to mention a game of charades that kept us laughing for hours!
My little princess.
Ahem. My little hoodlum.
Speaking of hoodlums... did you know that when you put a couple of swimsuit-clad hoodlums into a jacuzzi tub and throw some bubble bath in, you'll get contagious giggles?
And crazy bubbles!
We visited an Alpaca farm, much to the delight of my children.
After much coaxing, they finally got one!
I love these peeps. Now I'm off to unpack and do laundry. It's going to be a great week!!
