So with that said, here are the cutest children in the world, who incidentally woke up, high on sugar. I have no idea how that happens. Ava went as a peacock/ballet dancer. She pretty much planned and supervised the creation of her little costume. JJ went as a cowboy. Again. He always goes as a cowboy.
Please enjoy the sugar high. (And 847 photographs.)
Alright, so I may have gotten a little carried away with the photos. But I had some making up to do with years and years of no halloween photos!
Also, for the camera buddies, I was shooting with my 50 mm, shutter at 1/125 f.2/5 and ISO of 400 and 800. (LOVE THE 50!!)

I absolutely LOVE my niece and nephew! They are the greatest and I am one lucky auntie!
ReplyDeleteWhat great photos! Loks like a fun evening.
ReplyDeleteThey both looked adorable! Super cute and great pictures!
ReplyDeletePicture-perfect trick-or-treating photos! I love the one of them walking down the sidewalk with the leaves scattered. JJ really looks like he's into the part!
ReplyDeleteAva is darling as usual and my favorite pic is the one of JJ looking so serious!!! ; )
ReplyDeleteThat is the most adorable peacock I've ever seen, great makeup job! And the State of Texas would be proud to have JJ as a cowboy!
ReplyDeleteSweet Blessings.
LOVE! I suck.. I got maybe one pic. We waited too long and it was dark and raining:( Excuses...excuses...
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI visited your blog today - I saw you on 'Lemon Lane Cottage.' Your blog is so pretty, colorful, and full of life! I was noticing the costumes, and it brought back such sweet memories of when my kids went trick-or-treating. I really liked what it said about yourself on your side bar. Me and my daughters started a new blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would enjoy coming back to visit with you. Your blog is filled with beauty, and I am leaving here today with a smile. I hope to hear from you, and have a sweet day.

Your kiddos looked adorable for Halloween! Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower, and I have found myself looking forward to your posts each day! The one that caught my attention is the possibility of you moving. We could be in a similar situation soon. I don't want to put the cart before the horse so to say, but my hubby interviews this month for a diff. position in his company, and it would be a BIG move for us! It is exciting, scary, and many other feelings at the same time, so I can relate to your post.
I definitely like the cowboy costume best! That would have been my choice at that age too!
ReplyDeleteI love the peacock!! I also love the ballet pink tights. Brings back memories. i may have to go and put on my pointe shoes and walk around the room- which I do occasionally.
ReplyDeleteJJ makes a fantastic cowboy and it makes me laugh that he goes as that often.
You have such a cute neighborhood.
I am your newest follower, and so glad you shared your month a wonderful idea to let soak in for me. We are also moving in the next six weeks and have to get our heads around this. Life can be overwhelming at times but you have a perspective to keep the beauty in the day and capture it. Take my camera everywhere.
