I love...

Hey all.  I don't know what it is, but I've been really struggling the past few weeks and it all seemed to funnel into one big yucky pile on me this weekend.  Just ugh.  You know?  I'm confused, made myself really upset by not representing myself well in a tough situation, and to be honest, I think I'm a little depressed about my present circumstances.  Oh how I hate to admit that even to myself!  Of course the grey skies and constant rain in the Pacific NW aren't helping.  So... I think it's time for another I love post!
I love...
Peacock feathers
silver wishbone pendant necklaces
sea salt
the color orange
faded jeans with bare feet
turquoise anything
baby showers
good photos
old trucks
jason bourne
tommy girl perfume
long, black shirts
unexpected surprises
reasons to dress up
infinity scarves
phase ten and guestures
jane austen
my navy blue toms
word art
the hope of "someday"
making cranky people smile
patterns that don't match but go together
hunting for the perfect red lipstick (that I've never found)
creme brulee
really white teeth
my husband's ability to tan in an hour
magazines in the mailbox
that my hair is finally growing
freshmint tic tacs
yellow striped pillows
fine point pens
the day pottery barn sends out magazines
an unplanned day
my freckles

What's on your love list right now?

i love this post! what a wonderful way to chase away the blues for a bit. [incidentally, i also love many of the same things you do, especially orange & turquoise!] will send up prayers for you this week that either your circumstances change &/or that God changes you more into His image. and i love that you're reaching for that same goal.

I LOVE when it says "Lemonade Makin' Mama" at the top of my blog roll! You're may favorite read!

See, you are making lemonade by turning tough things into a Love List. ;-) I've been down a bit lately too, and I'm hoping 2012 isn't playing it's cards and showing me what's in store for the rest of the year. Chin up, maybe search Etsy for "peacock feather" and see what kind of amazingness shows up to make you smile.

Okay, I searched peacock feathers on Etsy and some things were downright scary. But these shoes made my heart skip a beat:

This photo is stunning:

And... I love office supplies. With peacock feathers.

I think we get excited about our hopes and dreams for the new year and the reality of the old year's issues follow us causing us to feel a little sad. So we have to say BUT GOD is in control and He loves us and has good plans for us.
Jer 29:11. Making a love list is a great idea to re-focus. I've had 3 surgeries in 3 months and the last one is not healing according to my plan so I'm struggling with you and everything does look dreary outside. I love
your blog, my family, my dog and
the color red in my kitchen!

Hope your blues fade away. Things will look up soon, I promise.

I LOVE. . .

and my red velvet cupcake candle
and when my postacard from the cosmos is totally where I'm at in life...sitting in my backyard with a book, a clean house, snuggling up with my kiddos, no outside activities in the month of January hence a clean calendar, my pretty things from LMM my mom says I'll have to do without if I don't work part time, my comfy, pretty, house socks!!!

Oh Sasha, I too didn't represent "me" to someone that was well being a bully in my opinion. I took the higher ground and said nothing. I'm not sure if I look like a coward or if I did the right thing by not playing into this woman's meanness. It's odd because if it were my children I would attack like a bear but myself, I turned an walked away. I have so much to be thankful for right now that I'm afraid to rock the boat with anything that would take that away. I love my family and friends, I love reading your blog, I love that you let us into your life. God Bless Sasha. Hoping you get some sunny blues skies soon!

Such a smart idea to think happy thoughts and count blessings...might have to borrow this idea. I wish I could trade our weather for a bit...we need the dark and rainy days and you need some sunshine. Hope everything is better soon, Sasha.
