Origami Owl Giveaway

Today I'm really excited.  I always love it when one of my readers contact me with something fabulous they want to make available to the rest of you guys.  Giveaways are the best, aren't they?  I've been working to have one at least once a month around here just for fun.  I like fun.  So when Stephanie contacted me and offered to giveaway a gift certificate to her little shop Origami Owl Jewelry, I jumped at the chance. 

She allowed me to select an item for myself so I could see the quality etc, of their fabulous products first hand, and the second I saw "turquoise" and "wish locket" in the same sentence my heart jumped up and down.  It really did. As you can see, their items come in sweet little packaging.  Isn't the way to all of our hearts through packaging?  I mean really. 

They offer some of the most darling necklaces- you can even select different charms that have special meaning to you, thus completely customizing your one-of-a-kind purchase!  Again, I went with the wish locket.  It stole my heart, but they had so many charms, lockets, hand-stamped metal plates, etc to choose from. Gotta love that.

Their wish lockets (also available in peach, coral and gray) contain this tiny, folded paper.  It says "Wishes DO come true" on one side...

...and then it has a space for you to write a wish (or two) on the back, fold it back up and tuck it inside your locket and carry it close to your heart.  How precious is that?   I wished two wishes in mine.  One was for my man and his career... if you've been reading for a while you know things have been challenging over the past couple of years as his heart has been driving him toward a mission that seems unattainable as he gets constantly nudged up the corporate ladder and down a path not of his choosing, by his employers.... so grateful for the job however.  And for myself... I wished for healing in a certain place in my heart.  I don't actually believe in "wishing" as it were... I guess you could say my head wishes (hopes) but my heart prays them.  And I DO believe in that.   So I'll keep them close to my heart and wrap those hopes in prayer.  It doesn't get any better than that.
