And now... today's giveaway. My bloggy friend and sidebar sponsor, Laura, asked me if she could give something fun away to LMM readers, from her Etsy shop, The Ironstone Nest. I was delighted because let's face it, giving things away is the best! Laura sells some of the cutest items in her shop. She has things like French signs, chalkboards, vintage items, lavender sachets, blue mason jar soap dispensers, antique sugar mold candle holders and decorated platters to name a few. She gathered a handful of lovely items from her shop and created a giveaway I'm sure you're going to adore. The top photo shows a tiny bird's nest and faux egg, and above, you see a preserved boxwood wreath with sheer ribbon for hanging. I hung it above a mirror because that's my favorite way to display tiny wreaths like this... She also included an ironstone soap holder and scrumptious smelling finely milled kiwi mango butter soap. Mmmm.
She tucked a few book pages tied with twine into the box...
And a chippy wood numbered tag...
This adorable sign reads, "The joy of life is you," in French. Ooh la la. I like...
My favorite item is the sturdy black wood base and petite glass cloche. You could put all kinds of cute things in this.
And a vintage orange marmalade crock. It would be perfection with some wild flowers in it! The first one Laura sent me had a big cracked piece just waiting to fall out so she was gracious and sent this to replace that. (And she let me keep the broken one... I'll show it to you after I've super glued it.)
So here's everything with the exception of the little boxwood wreath... Isn't this the cutest collection of things? I think Laura really outdid herself for y'all!
I had to show the full mirror... just adorable with that wreath hanging, don't you think? Laura sells a lot of sweet things in her shop that I know y'all would love so be sure to go check her out! Like me she loves to create, repurpose things, decorate and bake. She says, "I enjoy re-purposing vintage items into something completely unexpected. I see the possibility in items other people may have neglected and am able to give them a new life. I also enjoy the thrill of the hunt at flea markets, garage sales, antique malls, estate sales and anywhere I can get my hands on a one-of-a-kind treasure. However, my true passion lies in finding old, unwanted furniture and rejuvenating each piece with paint, restoration or both, and always with love and care"
If you'd like to be entered to win this giveaway, please visit Laura's Etsy shop (here) and leave a comment on this blog post letting us know which of her items is your favorite!
For extra entries, you can tweet, pin, facebook and post, and of course let us know in separate comments that you did all that. Good luck friends!
I'll announce a winner when I get back from my wild and crazy girls weekend!
