Always enjoy your month in review. What is that dish with apples?
Looks like chicken salad. How did I miss this? Did you share a recipe?
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

    1. It was a Waldorf tuna salad on green apple slices. It was YUM.

Slice green apples. Chop one green apple, 4 green onions and some fresh parsley. Mix tuna with mayo (I used home made Paleo mayo) and add 1/4 cup pecans, salt, pepper and pinch of cayenne. Top apple slices and enjoy.

  7. I always love your monthly recap of photos! I have so many questions today! (I hope you can answer a few!) I was wondering where you got your yellow floral sheets pictured in this post and the last one? Is that chicken salad? Do you have a recipe for it? And where did you find your pretty wrapping paper?

    1. I got the sheets at TJ Maxx a long time ago...

It's Tuna Waldorf salad. Slice green apples. Chop one green apple, 4 green onions and some fresh parsley. Mix tuna with mayo (I used home made Paleo mayo) and add 1/4 cup pecans, salt, pepper and pinch of cayenne. Top apple slices and enjoy.

The wrapping paper was from Michaels. In the dollar section. :)

      Hope this helps!

  12. Hi Sasha! Quick question...would you recommend your JoTotes camera bag? I have needed one forever and now have some traveling coming up. I like that it looks big enough for a camera bag/purse, but i'm wondering if its too big? Thanks for you input!

    1. To be honest... it's probably too big. BUT... I'm a big bag type of girl so it's been fine for me. It holds EVERYTHING. The reason it feels almost "too big" for me... is that it's very stiff material so it tends to feel cumbersome and bulky. I sacrifice that a bit just because it holds stuff, protects my camera and it's also terrifically cute. So I guess you have to weigh that and decide if it will work for you in spite of that.

      Hope that helps!

  13. I get all that your saying. It does totally score points for the cuteness factor, and the price (compared to other bags i've eyed up) is reasonable. Thanks for the response :)

  14. What are the flowers on your August 4 picture? We've had them growing in our yard (we are on Whidbey Island very close to you) for 2 summers and I can not find the name of them!?!?! Please email me at angelnavywife at msn dot com
