Insta-Anniversary and a Giveaway!

**THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED AND COMMENTS ARE CLOSED** Huge thanks to Jessica's Serenity for the awesome giveaway! The winner of Jessica's adorable clear beaded bracelet, by random draw, was Lisa @ Fern Creek Cottage! Lisa give me a shout at lemonademakinmama@comcast.net and I'll hook you up with Jessica to claim your prize.
Hi Peeps!  I'm popping in here quickly before taking a few days off over this upcoming Thanksgiving week... Adrain and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary today and I wanted to share our Instagram photos and offer a sweet giveaway too!  (I didn't even bring my big camera... I know right? Who am I?!)
My brother and his wife offered to keep the hoodlums for a few hours today so we dropped them off and decided to cruise around downtown Seattle and have lunch.

My man promised me that we could hit Anthropologie... I had never been IN the store... I've crawled all over their website and even ordered gifts for other people... but never walked inside myself, or purchased anything just for me.  I loved it. Of course!  Adrain bought me the $6.00 mug with initials on it... Oh happy day!  (And Happy Anniversary... we both agreed that I need an Anthro souvenir.)
We wandered around Pike's Place Market and laughed because we have never seen the fish throwing.  EVER!

Of course we took the tourist shot... you have to do that!

I have a little love affair with these kind of things... people that dress like an old statue and stand perfectly still... you can walk right by and never realize they are alive!  They tickle me pink every time... I always want to go up and hug them but Adrain tells me no.  LOL They are amazing!!

I left a little packet of pumpkin pie fudge in my brother's refrigerator as a thank you.
And a couple faves from this past week... these are my friend Trudy's Thanksgiving table items... she saved frappuccino bottles and we wrapped them in leaves and twine!  They were darling so I had to share in case you were still in need of a cute last minute idea for your table!

Lastly, I had to share this cozy little room update for my guests... we have a couple of weekends coming up that will be packed with various over nighters so I pulled out some warmer bedding from the linen closet, and bought a cozy new cream plush blanket and fur pillow at TJ Maxx to finish it all off!  Gosh I love that place... it rocks when you're on a tight budget! (And yes, I did paint the dresser in the corner.  I did that a while ago because I loved the island color so much I wanted to use it in here too.  Loved it before... love it even more now!  Win-win.)
This week's Fabulous Feature... is Jessica from Jessica's Serenity.  I have loved Jessica's bracelets for the longest time... I can personally attest to the high quality... not to mention that she offers a variety of pretty and versatile styles so you can find something for practically anyone on your list.  They are sure to become a favorite accessory immediately.  If you are looking for a great Christmas gift, you must race to her shop and snag some of her things.

To sweeten the deal you can get free shipping on all your orders right now by using the code SHIPFREE.  Isn't that fabulous?!

Jessica is also giving another one of her gorgeous handmade bracelets away to one of you just in time for Thanksgiving!!

This adorable clear beaded distressed leather wrap bracelet will be arriving in the lucky winner's mailbox, and all you need to do in order to be entered to win, is pop over to Jessica's shop, then leave a comment in this post saying which of her creations is your favorite!

You can pin, IG, tweet, FB or post for extra entries, and of course make sure and leave separate comments letting us know that you did that.

I'll be choosing a winner with random.org and announcing it Friday!

Happy Thanksgiving my friends!!

  13. Yay!!! For a day out on the town. I always end up in Seattle when it's cold and someone is cranky! Maybe some day I will make a trip with someone who is willing to bundle up and enjoy things. We've had a great time at both zoos in the "area" and also the aquarium. Still, I'd like some memories like the ones you made today!!!

Those bracelets are super cute! I really like the "purple beaded, distressed brown leather triple wrap, rustic country chic" one! Which bracelets so you have?
