 Last Summer, I got a call from my friend Betsy asking for prayer as their dishwasher had sprung a leak and caused some major water damage.  It was bad enough that an insurance adjuster had to come, and talk of a necessary kitchen renovation began.  She spent the better part of the following months Pinning kitchen inspiration and diving into a ton of DIY projects.  They painted their cabinets, replaced counter tops, reworked lighting, flooring and trim.  It was a huge undertaking but it feels like a completely different house now.  In the midst of all that, she created a wall calendar that works spectacularly for her family and the minute I saw it I looked at her and said, "Girl, you need to sell those."

She recently opened an Etsy shop where she sells these and has graciously offered to give one away to one of you guys!  I'm excited to have Betsy's shop as my first Fabulous Feature of the new Year!

 These are wonderful because Betsy is able to customize it if you want a different quote, colors, etc.  And the best part is that you're dealing with a personal friend of mine, so I can tell you that her work is amazing, and she is a sweetheart.  They are a nice, big 20x30" and slide easily into a 20x30" frame, then simply use with a dry erase pen and your life will be completely organized. (Okay that might be a slight exaggeration but it can't hurt to have it all in one place, right?)

  And because we all go crazy for before and afters... here are a few of her kitchen shots.  Keep in mind they did almost everything by themselves!  I am madly in love with her subway tile.  She used a gray grout and it's gorgeous.

 

 She ripped out a pantry area that they never used, and found this little peninsula cabinet at the restore.  It changed her kitchen's shape completely, and added extra counter space and seating.  They got their butcher block counters from Ikea.
