Oh Sasha, I too didn't represent "me" to someone that was well being a bully in my opinion. I took the higher ground and said nothing. I'm not sure if I look like a coward or if I did the right thing by not playing into this woman's meanness. It's odd because if it were my children I would attack like a bear but myself, I turned an walked away. I have so much to be thankful for right now that I'm afraid to rock the boat with anything that would take that away. I love my family and friends, I love reading your blog, I love that you let us into your life. God Bless Sasha. Hoping you get some sunny blues skies soon!

I think we get excited about our hopes and dreams for the new year and the reality of the old year's issues follow us causing us to feel a little sad. So we have to say BUT GOD is in control and He loves us and has good plans for us.

i love this post! what a wonderful way to chase away the blues for a bit. [incidentally, i also love many of the same things you do, especially orange & turquoise!] will send up prayers for you this week that either your circumstances change &/or that God changes you more into His image. and i love that you're reaching for that same goal.
